Figs with Jar


Fresh figs from a local market-- a new subject!  Took a wee bit licence with the colors and their intensity.

    Figs are my weakness... I agree with the saying that if there are not figs in heaven, .... well you know how it goes. But WHO would think to put that gorgeous blue/lavender to back them up, and what a punch it gives them? I need a fig... NOW. :D

    Love what you did with these figs. I tried painting some recently and just couldn't get the color right.
