Yellow Flowers with Lemon


I wanted to paint flowers with even more air around them than usual.  I liked the sparseness of this bouquet.

    There are so many things I love about this. The atmosphere is so serene and quiet. I love the sparseness of the bouquet, also. It feels like someone brought in a handful of flowers from the garden to enjoy. Your paintings always have an elegant beauty.
