This painting brought to mind an interesting article I read recently about extroverts and introverts. It said artists are generally introverted although I have artist friends with very outgoing personalities.

I don't think of artists as introverted, at least the ones I know. Lots of them are outgoing, wear brightly colored clothes and lots of jewelry. I guess the introversion comes during the time they are alone at the canvas.
