Pink Roses

The roses are in a small square glass milk bottle from a dairy in Connecticut that no longer exists. I love this little bottle--I wonder if anyone still makes glass milk bottles? (Please forgive glare on photo.)

Sunflower

It is hard to resist sunflowers--they are big and goofy and happy.

Sitting Tall

This is one of the old bottles that I previously mentioned. It is scratched and beat up but still beautiful.

Flower Overhang

I have fallen in love with glass and old glass bottles. I look for Saturday tag sales within walking distance of my home. It is a great start to the weekend when I get in a long walk and find a lovely glass bottle or other inspiring still life object.
I just brought this painting over to the Westville Gallery, New Haven, CT.

Red Drama

It is unusual for me to use red as a background color--but I am pleased with this painting.
